Original caption:Tranquility Base, The Moon: An Apollo 11 south-westerly view of the lunar farside. International Astronomical Union crater No. 308, about 58 statute miles in diameter, is the large crater at the edge of the picture. Near the center of the photograph a small apex crater (less than 1statute mile in diameter) rests on a nearby conical-shaped hill which is on the common rim of two adjacent unmanned larger craters (about 20 and 09 statute miles in diameter). This hill is not unlike earth cinder cones and suggests the possibility of some type of lunar volcanism which may build the hill and leaves as its final act, a smaller crater at the hill apex. ( automatický překlad do češtiny  ) ( zobrazit originální popisek v angličtině )
